A combination of live performance with their all-star sextet, entertaining spoken narrative, and a captivating video presentation will transport you back to the earlier decades of these two jazz giants with music from their hit albums including "Blue Trane," "Kind of Blue," and "Birth of the Cool." Selections will include, "My Favorite Things," "Someday My Prince Will Come," "Summertime," "My Funny Valentine," and "So What." Washington, DC natives Peter and Will Anderson have headlined the Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, live on Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion; and can be heard on the Grammy-winning soundtrack of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire with Vince Giordano’s Nighthawks.
