After losing her family home and her job, Blanche Dubois seeks help from her sister Stella in New Orleans. Stella lives in modest circumstances with her husband Stanley, a Polish immigrant. Class differences and opposing worldviews clash. Blanche tries to adapt and find love again, but the community doesn't accept her. One evening, when she is alone with Stanley, disaster strikes. Ultimately, she manages to escape this life and sets out anew, placing her trust in humanity.

We are in the heart of a large city. What do we see? In a restaurant, a woman uses her sick mother as an excuse not to move in with her boyfriend. In a bicycle shop, a man writes a love poem into the void. In the park, one woman convinces another to vote for a new gun control law. In the polluted river, anglers discover dead fish. Our gaze repeatedly returns to the apartment of the couple Erik and Nino, who, almost unintentionally, are slowly drifting apart.
