With humor and irony, the choreographic duo picks up where the arts have lingered with utmost seriousness for centuries: with love – and the broken heart. Countless times these themes have been brought to the stage as existential experiences, tragedies, or dramas of longing. Now, this pathos is put to the test through dance. A workshop for broken hearts transforms stage and body into sites of metamorphosis. With subtle wit and a touch of self-irony, the piece opens up a new, fresh perspective: love is not idealized but curiously questioned; suffering is not glorified but dynamically translated into movement and rhythm.
