The power of women in mythology has been felt since the dawn of time. Explore the stories of timeless icons from Greek, Jewish, and Hindu traditions in this concert on April 20, at 8pm, in St. Paul's Chapel. Featuring a world premiere work by Reena Esmail, poetry and musical arrangement by Larry Rosenwald and Shira Kammen, and projections by Camilla Tassi. This varied concert, in celebration of the Foundation’s 10-year anniversary, will invite the musicians of New York in Chuncheon Festival who will present both new and beloved staples of the repertory by John Adams, Caroline Shaw, Nathan Schram, Maurice Ravel and Amy Beach. As an organization that has supported projects and individuals with strong interest to Korean culture, AP foundation recognizes the amount of cultural and educational contribution these musicians have made to not just the city of Chuncheon, but to Korea. The Foundation decided that it was only fitting to invite these musicians for this meaningful event. Promotional support for the event has been provided by the Korean Cultural Center New York.

This chamber music ensemble, led by renowned music director Emi Ferguson, will take you on a journey through time and across continents with a program featuring the works of the legendary Johann Sebastian Bach.

Get ready to be transported to the 18th century with a mesmerizing performance of Bach's Prelude and Fugue, showcasing the intricate and refined compositions of the Baroque era. Let the powerful sounds of the Organ Sonata No. 5 and the haunting melodies of the Prelude and Fugue in C Minor envelop you in a world of pure musical perfection.

But the journey doesn't stop there. Camerata Pacifica will also delight audiences with a trio of soloists - Coleman Itzkoff on cello, Mikael Darmanie on piano, and Katie Hyun on violin - as they join forces to bring to life Bach's Trio Sonata No. 6 in C Minor. This piece, filled with intricate harmonies and virtuosic passages, is sure to leave you breathless.
