Chorus Director

A love letter to the human voice, showcasing cantatas written centuries apart. The SPCO teams up with Tapestry Choral Collective of the Orpheus Music Project in works inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach and the spiritual, polyphonic qualities of his Baroque music. Plus, a U.S. premiere of Karin Rehnqvist's Take the Milky Way, written for choir, orchestra and organ, evoking imagery of black holes and the nature of light as a meditation on hope, community and the threads that connect us.
