Opéra National De Lyon

Performed by the Opéra de Lyon Ballet dancers, this two-piece show was created by two of the most illustrious choreographers of our time: the American William Forsythe, presenting his iconic Workwithinwork, in which he subverts the codes of classical dance; and the Belgian Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, with the ardent duet La Nuit transfigure (Transfigured Night), set to Arnold Schoenberg’s late-Romantic score. Two masterpieces of contemporary dance history, requiring the precision and commitment for which the Lyon Opera Ballet’s performers are so highly regarded.
