Guitarist

It was in the spring of 2020, during the lockdown (and the intense creative ferment that followed), that Stéphane Hoareau and Théo Girard, the two driving forces behind the Discobole Company, laid the groundwork for their future “Discobole Capsules.” These are deliberately short musical sessions, playful workshops where they meet instrumentalists and singers from diverse backgrounds to conceive, perform, and record an original, ever-evolving, ephemeral repertoire imbued with the energy of the moment. Since their inception, more than forty artists have participated in these odes to spontaneity and free creative interaction, from Christine Salem to Max Cilla, from Cindy Pooch to Rebecca Roger Cruz, from Macha Gharibian to Sami Pageaux-Waro.
