After Measuring Frogs' Leaps (ANCT Critics' Award 2025), Carrozzeria Orfeo continues its ironic and poetic exploration of the contemporary human condition. This new work unfolds between realism and symbolism, exploring the contradictions of existence and the constant tension between loss and rediscovery of the self. Inspired by Raymond Carver, the stories told in this show are presented as brief forays into the homes of ordinary people: we enter through windows, rooftops, gardens, a van, or a phone booth, and the result is a gallery of portraits that, despite their mediocrity, manage to reflect contemporary Western man, perpetually hostage to his own anxieties, fears, and neuroses.
