Theodoros Terzopoulos, one of the leading masters of contemporary theater, has staged this tragedy several times throughout his long career, considering it a necessary element of our present. In this latest edition, Dionysus becomes the archetype of the refugee: having arrived from Tmolos three thousand years ago, he endures the wars of the Middle East and now lands on the shores of the Mediterranean, from Crete to Lampedusa. He takes the stage and invites us to shatter, together, the mirror of narcissism, allowing its fragments to give life to a new image.
