The story of the human failure of a successful man who, unknowingly, and perhaps unintentionally, dragged other lives into his ruin. A work by the great Swedish playwright and filmmaker Ingmar Bergman in which the theater becomes a place for profound reflection on life itself: a director rethinks his work and his relationships with actors, especially that with a young woman tied to his past and his most ambiguous memories.
