After having been a sideman for American and Danish jazz icons, Jan Nielsen started his own trio and quartet/quintet in 2016, playing solid swinging jazz inspired by, among others, Nat King Cole, Oscar Peterson, Earl Garner and Gene Harris. Jan Nielsen lived in the USA for a number of years and played gigs with local musicians in New Orleans. Jan Nielsen is a very versatile musician and also plays with, among others, Red Hot Four+1/+2. With the Flying Jazzman Sextet, he has put together his own dream team. A strong musical team composed of some of the best.
