The International Hot Jazz Quartet is a truly unique quartet that has made traditional jazz, as it was played in the period 1920-1950, its trademark. At the same time, the group has given the music renewed energy and left its own mark. Although there are only four musicians, where traditional jazz is most often played by 6 to 7 musicians, the music lacks neither intensity nor form. It is traditional jazz at a high level with a splash of innovation.
