This orchestra pays tribute to the greatest of them all, namely Louis Armstrong himself, also known as Satchmo and Pops. The concert is conducted by Nicolas Kock and consists of seven of the best jazz musicians in the country, all of whom have roots in and are affiliated with the Esbjerg Academy of Music. Together they form one of Louis Armstrong's most used band compositions. There is hardly a jazz musician who has inspired as many as Louis Armstrong has. Many of Satchmo's unforgettable evergreens will be treated with loving care by the seven-piece orchestra.
