"Voglio Vederti Danzare" delves into the heart of Franco Battiato's universe, exploring his most iconic periods: from the visionary intuitions of "L'era del cinghiale bianco" (The Age of the White Boar) to the cultured melancholy of "Prospettiva Nevsky," the spiritual quest of "Centro di gravitazione permanente" (Permanent Center of Gravity) and the hypnotic atmosphere of the title song. On the stage of the Teatro Colosseo, David Cuppari's voice dialogues with the Band and Orchestra of the Teatro Goldoni of Livorno, conducted by Maestro Giovanni Cernicchiaro, in a subtle balance between respect for the original arrangements and new nuances that enhance their surprising relevance. Enriching the concert are Sufi dancers: their circular dance recalls the mystical dimension so dear to Battiato and transforms the evening into a collective ritual, combining memory, poetry, and vision.
