Trumpetist

"Stealing in art is for geniuses, copying is for idiots." This motto inspires "The Opera of the Delinquent," the new show by Paolo Rossi and Bebo Storti: a nocturnal cabaret, both real and mythical, that lights up inside and outside a venue populated by irregular ghosts.

The barkers welcome the audience by breaking the fourth wall and recounting a legend that circulated in Milan in those years: when theaters close, they are inhabited by the spirits of those who once lived there. Not the celebrated big names, but marginal figures, often linked to an illegal world, who provided energy, stories, and inspiration to the cabaret. Music and songs structure the stage action, with choral numbers and classic pieces alongside new material. On stage, alongside Rossi and Storti, are the "Ancién Prodige" Emanuele Dell'Aquila and Alex Orciari, along with Cesare Mecca and the young artist Caterina Gabanella, for a comic device that blends improvisation, storytelling, and theatrical memory.
