Ambra Angiolini presents her directorial debut with a work she describes as real and strongly contemporary, driven by "human" needs, in a theatrical form that has ennobled her and allowed her to mature in the quality of her artistic choices over the years. A "group soliloquy," Angiolini calls it, tragicomic, funny and bitter, bright and dark, in the gigantic oxymoron that is everyone's life. With Benni's literary virtuosity, Ambra also explores the remnants of her past, which she must reassemble, to rediscover what she is missing, to reclaim her piece V of W. "W" will return to being a whole woman again, wonderfully nonconformist, solid in the cracks of fragility, who will have rebuilt her body and her humanity before everyone, in a world seemingly too cynical and devoid of human ambitions.
