Vocalist Capathia Jenkins, conductor Edwin Outwater, and the San Francisco Symphony fill the night air with a crowd-pleasing lineup featuring favorite American classics and a special tribute to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. The evening concludes with a grand finale of spectacular fireworks!

Praised for her “beauty of sound” by Seen&Heard International, Matilda Lloyd presents a programme that explores the singing voice of the trumpet. Matilda was the winner of the 2014 BBC Young Musician of the Year Brass Final, and in 2016, made her BBC proms solo debut in the Royal Albert Hall with the BBC Philharmonic.
