Festival Orchestra Week kicks off with a centennial celebration of one of today’s most recognized classical compositions, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Joining the Orchestra to perform this iconic Jazz Age masterpiece is the acclaimed Marcus Roberts Trio, offering an innovative and entertaining approach to the beloved work. Maestro Robert Moody and the Orchestra complement the jazz-inspired Rhapsody with My Homeland by Dvořák and the ebullient L’Tombeau de Couperin of Ravel.
