Heathers is the story of Veronica Sawyer and her inner turmoil as she traverses a high school ruled over by an intimating trio of scrunchie-loving dictators - the Heathers. Consisting of Heather Chandler, Heather McNamara, and Heather Duke, they stalk the halls of Westerburg High with an iron fist, verbally and mentally destroying anyone who gets in the way of their carefully guarded hierarchy.

But when the mysterious JD comes to class, Veronica may have found herself an ally in her hatred - albeit one with murder on his mind. Pitch-black and raucously funny, its a no-holds-barred look at the social strata of high school and the fate of anyone who might rally against it.

Songs of a Wayfarer, Mahler’s heartbreaking song cycle about lost love, is at the center of this recital by multiple Grammy Award–winning mezzo-soprano Michelle DeYoung and renowned pianist Kevin Murphy. The duo also performs Korngold’s beautiful and melancholy Songs of Farewell, which the Viennese-born composer wrote while reeling from the losses of World War I and being separated from his future wife, as well as a newly discovered work: Five Night Songs by the Austrian-born American composer Eric Zeisl, who, like Korngold, was known for his famous film scores.

Gill has returned home to the north coast of Northern Ireland determined to speak to her younger sister Kelly for the first time in three years. There she is shocked to discover that Kelly has become a devout member of a rapidly expanding Christian community called Harvest. As Gill struggles to reconcile this Kelly with the Kelly she has been keeping safe in her mind, a noise is gathering at their periphery that refuses to go unheard any longer.

Akedah is Michael John O’Neill’s first full-length play, and won the Bruntwood Prize Original New Voice Award in 2019.

Lucy Morrison returns to Hampstead after The Animal Kingdom. An Associate Director at the Royal Court, her credits include This Is Not Who I Am, Scenes with girls and The Woods (Royal Court) and Little on the Inside (Almeida).
