The Gomalan Brass Quintet brings to the stage twenty years of its international career, from Santa Cecilia to the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Wigmore Hall, with a tribute to Italian musical genius: from the solemnity of the "Sinfonia" from Nabucco and Puccini's celebrated "Nessun dorma" to the cinema of Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone, to the singer-songwriter genres of Tenco and D'Anzi and a tribute to Fred Buscaglione. A journey spanning four centuries of Italian music, from Gabrieli's Renaissance to Mauro Ottolini's contemporary jazz, conveyed with the virtuosity and theatrical verve that have always distinguished the quintet, winner of the "Città di Passau" Competition.
