Ravel: The Lure of the Exotic, featuring Susan Waterfall

Preston Hall

Redwood Symphony is excited to announce FOLLIES IN CONCERT as the “Sondheim Surprise Musical” to be performed in April 2023. (By contract, the show title was previously embargoed until September 15, 2022.)

FOLLIES features a soaring score that evokes the magic of the vaudeville “follies” that thrived in New York City in the early 20th century. The story of FOLLIES is powerful and bittersweet, as the performers attend their “first and last reunion,” perform some of their old numbers, reminisce about times gone by, and confront their own “follies” and the choices they have made in the years since their lives on the stage.
