The Dialogue, led by composer Andrea Valle and musicologist Giacomo Albert, focuses on the enduring allure of silent cinema and the complex dynamics of live sound. The discussion will explore the dialectic between written text and extemporaneous gesture, exploring the role of improvisation as a tool for dramatic interpretation. This is thanks to the presence of musicians from the Turin-based improvisation group Arto fantasma, guests of the dialogue and featured in the 9:00 pm concert.
