In a slightly absurd universe, we meet two ordinary people, Johannes and Brian. They find themselves in a waiting room that is never precisely defined, but what are they to do, where are they headed, and how does one behave when caught in a waiting situation that seems to have no end time? Along the way, a peculiar camaraderie arises between the two, and a kaleidoscopic conversation about life and death, parental tyranny, flea markets, paradise and sausage mix unfolds. Through laughter and reflection, the performance THE ONE AND THE OTHER examines how "the other" can help us see, and what happens when we are confronted with everything we thought we had put away. A whimsical everyday comedy in the best Hans Rønne style.
