Accompany the architect Ursula Scriba through the mosaic city of Ravenna, where you encounter great names: the Roman emperors Caesar and Augustus, the Western Roman emperor Honorius and his half-sister Galla Placidia, and the Ostrogothic ruler Theoderic. Some architectural and artistic works from the post-Roman era have also survived in the city. Near the fertile Po Delta and the Adriatic, you hear Dante's Divine Comedy, and experience buildings, churches and museums – eight buildings from the 5th and 6th centuries are part of the UNESCO World Heritage List.
