Herr Nilsen

With Elisabeth Krohn-Hansen out front, the Krohn-Hansen Kvintett plays traditional jazz with a twinkle in the eye. Inspired by musicians such as Radka Toneff and Susanne Sundfør, the vocalist delivers well-known jazz lyrics with a distinctive tone and strong stage presence. Alongside her are seasoned jazz musicians who will soon celebrate 40 years of playing together in various settings. Together they combine the traditional with improvisatory playfulness and personal interpretations.
