Marlen Tjøsvoll & The Troublemakers is a jazzy sextet with raw chemistry and seductive energy. With tight interplay and strong stage presence, they create concerts full of nerve, mystery and intensity. In tandem with Marlen's masterful vocal delivery, The Troublemakers take the audience through hypnotic grooves and open musical landscapes, where the expression balances between the elegant and the untamed.

Oslo Konserthus

Live Foyn Friis from Asker has studied the old jazz singers from childhood. In particular, Live has brought many of the songs from the repertoire of the great Sarah Vaughan into her own band. She was nominated for the Danish Spellemann Prize with her four albums in the categories of Vocal Jazz Album of the Year and Special Release of the Year at the Danish Music Awards. She won the title of Young Jazz Composer of the Year and, on the same occasion, was named Denmark's new jazz star! Live Foyn Friis now lives in Norway.

Billie Holiday's voice and Lester Young's saxophone were made for each other, and it works just as well in small groups as with larger bands.
