Tony Bontana is a rapper, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Birmingham and a distinctive voice in the British experimental underground scene. With his self-defined "Splayed" sound, he blends abstract hip-hop, soul, indie, punk and electronic textures into skewed productions, where broken-down samples and unpredictable rhythms meet personal and introspective lyrics. Following releases such as TUMPIT and The Beautiful Malaise, Tony Bontana continues with the album My Name, and live he translates his genre-dissolving universe into intense and uncompromising concerts.
