At the first reading circle of the autumn we read "Haunting" ("Hjemsøgelse"), one of Jenny Erpenbeck's early novels, originally published in 2008 and recently reissued in a Danish translation by Maj Westerfeld. We read Jenny Erpenbeck: Heimsuchung in the Danish edition: Hjemsøgelse, Gads Forlag, April 2026. Mette Hermann moderates the evening. Organized by the Danish-German Society and existing members of the association.
