The Symphony partners with Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church to bring music to the community in Celebration for a King! The program will commemorate and celebrate the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Greater St John Missionary Baptist Church

Byron Smith and Clark Joseph lead the New England Symphonic Ensemble, chorus, and soloists in an evening of Gospel music. Jeanne Wohlgamuth conducts treble choir in works by Stephen Paulus, Kim Andre Arnesen, Paul Basler, and more. Ryan Holder conducts the world premiere of excerpts from Anders Edenroth’s Lionteeth, and Cvetozar Vutev conducts Imant Raminsh’s Missa Brevis.
