**Event Overview:**
Join us for an enchanting evening as the Festival Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Sir Donald Runnicles, presents Mozart’s "The Magic Flute." This performance is part of the Grand Teton Music Festival's ambitious annual opera tradition, featuring a full staging complete with props and stunning projections.

**Synopsis:**
"A prince and a bird catcher must complete a series of magical tests to rescue a princess and banish evil from the world." Experience Mozart’s strange and wonderful allegory on right and wrong, brought to life with exceptional musical and theatrical artistry.

**Pre-Concert Talk:**
Arrive early for a pre-concert talk at 5 PM with Dr. Michael Griffith, Director of Orchestral Activities at the University of Wyoming. The talk will take place in the Barbara Furrer Goodman Memorial Garden near Walk Festival Hall’s north entrance and is sponsored by the Goodman Family Foundation, in memory of Roy and Barbara Goodman.

Festival Orchestra: Madame Butterfly in Concert

Step into the passionate world of Mascagni’s Cavalleria rusticana, where love, betrayal, and honor converge in an operatic masterpiece. The young man Turiddu abandons Santuzza, who is deeply in love with him, and in his pursuit of the married Lola, ends up being killed in a duel with her husband, Alfio. With its rich melodies and gripping narrative, the opera will sweep you away with its soaring arias and poignant melodies that bring to life the emotions and entangled relationships of a Sicilian village.
