This celebrated murder mystery, which inspired Alfred Hitchcock’s masterpiece, is set to captivate audiences from July 31 to August 31, with performances running Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:00 PM. 

Set against the backdrop of suspicion and deception, the story unfolds as Tony becomes convinced that his wife Margot has been unfaithful. As the affair seems to end, Tony's jealousy leads him to concoct a dangerous web that threatens to entangle both him and Margot in a deadly game of danger, recrimination, and murder.

This gripping production takes place at the East Lynne at Cape May Presbyterian Church, located at 500 Hughes Street, Cape May, NJ. East Lynne Theater Company proudly presents "TEA FOR THREE: Lady Bird, Pat & Betty," a captivating theatrical experience that delves into the lives of three of America's First Ladies: Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, and Betty Ford. Set in the intimate family quarters of the White House, this witty and deeply moving play offers a unique glimpse into the personal hopes, fears, and loves of these remarkable women as they prepare to leave behind their roles as the nation's hostesses.

Through a series of solo confidences shared directly with the audience, "TEA FOR THREE" reveals the untold stories of Lady Bird's defense of her husband's quirks, Pat Nixon's guarded recollections and explosive anger about Watergate, and Betty Ford's candid admissions of feeling lost post-White House. Each scene is a poignant exploration of what Pat Nixon famously called "the hardest unpaid job in the world," providing insight into the challenges and triumphs of their time in the spotlight.

This limited engagement runs from June 19 through July 6, with performances most Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:00 PM, an additional show on Tuesday, July 2 at 7 PM, and a special matinee on Thursday, July 4 at 4 PM. So begins the unlikely friendship between Daisy, a wealthy Jewish widow, and Hoke Coleburn, a Black man who must overcome Miss Daisy's prejudices to keep his job as her chauffeur.  Set in Atlanta from 1948 to 1973 (before, during and after the Civil Rights Movement), this moving comedy is about two extraordinary people, and their enduring bond.
