Pianist

Chilly Gonzales is as well known for his intimate approach to the piano through his Solo Piano album trilogy as for his undeniable talents as a showman. Dressed in a bathrobe and wearing slippers, he fills philharmonic halls around the world; in the space of a single evening, he can give a moving piano recital, dissect the inner workings of a Billie Eilish hit, and amaze audiences with his rapological dexterity. He writes and performs songs with internationally renowned artists such as Jarvis Cocker, Feist and Drake, and won a Grammy in 2014 for his collaboration on Daft Punk's Best Album of the Year.

On April 4th at 7:00pm, The Lovejoy Quartet, featuring violinists John Fadial and Jennifer Lyford, violist Sarah McCoy, and cellist Beth Vanderborgh, will perform an intimate chamber concert. Ticket includes light appetizers.  Founded in 2021 they specialize in light classics for all types of events and festivities. The group has performed for Visit Cheyenne’s exclusive Farm-to-Table evenings, for the NYE2023 celebration at the Cheyenne Depot, for Cheyenne Symphony fundraisers, private weddings, and more. The name “Lovejoy Quartet” raises a hat to one of Laramie’s most well-known pioneers, Elmer Lovejoy. Guest Artists Underwritten by Bill Runyan and The Kenneth & Myra Monfort Charitable Foundation.

Having established herself in a few years as one of the most flamboyant figures in the contemporary music, the American singer and pianist Sarah McCoy is back with her new album High Priestess, out in North America September 2023. Recorded with veteran producer Renaud Letang (Feist, Keren Ann, Charlotte Gainsbourg...) and under the benevolent wing of Chilly Gonzales (known for the intimate touch of his solo piano albums and his collaborations with Jarvis Cocker, Feist, Drake or Daft Punk), these new works mark a turning point for the accomplished singer-songwriter, whose powerful voice reveals painful cracks.
