A treasured classic for the whole family to enjoy, this exhilarating production comes to life with magnificent costumes and captivating choreography – all to the backdrop of Tchaikovsky’s mesmerizing score – ‘The Nutcracker’. This holiday season, join the Gulfshore Ballet and the Gulf Coast Symphony as the lights dim, the music soars, snowflakes swirl, flowers dance, and a little girl dreams about a whole new world. Tchaikovsky holiday classic presented with new choreography created by Gulfshore Ballet Artistic Directors Iliana Lopez & Franklin Gamero. This two-act ballet is based on a holiday story by E.T.A. Hoffmann that centers on a family’s Christmas Eve celebration. It is the perfect introduction to classical music and dance for the entire family.

From Leroy Anderson’s endearing Sleigh Ride, a medley of music from Christmas movie classics, to the Mannheim Steamroller Silent Night, and much, much more! Mark Sanders together with Gulf Coast Symphony will perform ‘One Voice: The Music of Barry Manilow’. Pop icon Barry Manilow had an astonishing 50 Top 40 hits and Billboard Magazine ranks him as the #1 Adult Contemporary Artist of all time. Now, Broadway National Touring performer (Fiddler on the Roof) Mark Sanders brings you a magical and heartfelt night as he honors Manilow with powerful renditions of favorites including “Mandy,” “I Write the Songs” and “Copacabana.” Just like Manilow, Mark is a natural showman and his voice and dynamic stage presence will make you fall in love with these hit songs all over again.

One Voice: The Music of Barry Manilow

Join the Gulf Coast Symphony for “Haunted Halloween – Symphonic Family Concert”. This not-so-spooky Halloween concert is sure to be fun for the whole family! The event starts at 1:00 pm with safe trick-or-treating and the Musical Discovery Zone™ in the lobby, where kids (and adults!) can try out the instruments of the orchestra. Costumes are encouraged and there will be children’s costume contests with prizes! At 2:00pm, activities move to the theater where the Gulf Coast Symphony will perform family-friendly Halloween music. Expect music from movies like Harry Potter, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean and many more!
