Under the direction and choreography of Santangelo, the award-winning Noche Flamenca is recognized as one the world's premier touring companies. Formed in 1993 by Santangelo and his wife and principal dancer, Soledad Barrio, the company has toured throughout the globe, including regular seasons in New York City, and performances in North and South America, Europe, and Australia. Showcasing some of Spain’s greatest flamenco dancers, singers and musicians along with new emerging flamenco artists from Spain. Witness the profundity of flamenco in an intimate setting where you will have the chance to connect and feel with the artists on stage. The show will include scenes from Noche Flamenca’s latest show "Searching For Goya" along with classic flamenco scenes created by artistic director and choreographer Martin Santangelo and award winning choreographer Soledad Barrio. "Bulls and Butterflies" explores the delicacy of flamenco, the savagery of emotion and the depth of this traditional and deep art form.

Choreographed by Artistic Director Martin Santangelo and his award-winning wife and Principal Dancer Soledad Barrio, this performance features a company of dancers, singers, and musicians whose mastery of flamenco stretches the boundaries of the art form. "Searching for Goya" takes the audience on a journey through Goya’s graphic imagination, exploring themes of human struggle and resilience. The performance is further enriched by the creative insights of Mark McDonald, Curator of Drawings and Prints at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
