Berklee College of Music and BoCo Chamber Singers are proud to present their debut program, ENTRANCES, a culmination of their collective work since the beginning of the fall semester. Hallelujah! It’s Messiah time. Hear a quartet of soloists sing <cite>Comfort Ye, Rejoice Greatly,</cite> <cite>The Trumpet Shall Sound</cite> and the <cite>Hallelujah</cite> Chorus from this most beloved choral work of all, a cathedral of music. As has now become a Tucson tradition, seasonal music by other masters will enchant your family.

Messiah, Carols and Songs

Its title referring to the ‘wondrous mystery’ of Christ’s birth, Jacob Handl’s motet, published in 1586, encapsulates a theme that welcomes music by contemporary composer Cecilia McDowall within a Renaissance programme.
