From Mack Wilberg’s exquisitely crafted carols like “The First Nowell” and “Joy to the World!” to the mesmerizing jazz-infused Nutcracker Mini Suite, this performance promises an enchanting musical experience. Joined by the mesmerizing vocals of Shayna Steele and a heartwarming narration of “The Night Before Christmas,” this delightful program will immerse you in the spirit of Christmas, creating cherished memories for all. There’s nothing quite like Charleston during the winter holidays, and there’s no better way to get in the holiday spirit than with the Charleston Symphony! An annual tradition for audiences of all ages, Holiday Pops embodies the sounds of the season highlighted by a variety of musical choices, vocal performances, special guests such as dancing Santa and joyous pipers, and fun celebrations for all.

It’s a Kentuckiana Holiday tradition!  And what better way to start the season than with the LO Pops and all your holiday favorites?  Bob Bernhardt always creates a jolly holiday atmosphere and this year he is joined by the impressive vocal talents of Shayna Steele. She has made her mark as an in-demand vocalist in the studio and on the stage.  It’s so special, even Santa is coming!

Where is home? Is it where you have been or where you are going? From India to China to Britain, Mexico, Africa, Syria and Iraq, the concert selections paint pictures of movement, faith and beauty across many cultures and time periods. The program ends with J.S. Bach’s uplifting Magnificat.

A regional calendar highlight and Greeley’s favorite holiday tradition, your Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra, Greeley Chorale, and Greeley Children's Chorale again take the stage in the poinsettia-adorned Monfort Concert Hall! Start the evening with the Magic Baton Melody Contest celebrating our winning Greeley-Evans School District 6 middle school student composer. Then, the musicians fill the hall with holiday spirit as they perform classic gems such as “The First Nowell,” “Sleigh Ride,” and Victor Hely-Hutchinson's Carol Symphony. Sure to have you singing all the way home, the concert “wraps” up with the orchestra and choir performing “Angels from the Realms of Glory,” arranged by Mack Wilberg. Come gather with us, experience the last night of the Festival of Trees, and have your photo taken with Santa - all included with your ticket!
