Froggy 92.9 celebrates its 30th birthday with a high-energy country celebration featuring Sony Music Nashville’s Corey Kent. Kent brings his signature blend of Oklahoma grit, country soul and rebel rock energy to the stage for a performance built on conviction, powerhouse vocals and hard-earned momentum. Rising from the dancehalls and dive bars of Bixby, Oklahoma, Kent has carved his own lane in country music with a sound influenced by Bruce Springsteen and Creedence Clearwater Revival as much as George Strait and Brooks & Dunn. His journey has been defined by perseverance, from early Nashville setbacks to a breakout run that now includes two No. 1 country radio hits, the 3X Platinum “Wild As Her,” the Gold-certified “This Heart,” Platinum-certified “Something’s Gonna Kill Me” and more than one billion career streams. With his latest album, Heartland Rock and Roll, Kent leans fully into the sound that sets him apart: smoky vocals, small-town storytelling, country-rock intensity and a deep sense of gratitude earned through the slow build.
