To Kill a Mockingbird

Civic Center Music Hall

The lighter side of Beethoven, from flautist Marie-Christine Zupancic and friends.

In 1801 he took three instruments, added a generous sprinkling of musical jokes and gave us his Serenade – six movements of tuneful quirks that are pretty much guaranteed to put a smile on your face. A delightfully unexpected overture to Beethoven’s 200th anniversary year, from three of the CBSO’s brightest stars.
