

Lara Barsacq (Charleroi danse) and her troupe take ownership of some major works written for Serge de Diaghilev between 1909 and 1929, paying tribute in their contemporary language to one of the most glorious periods in the history of dance. In this performance accompanied by the OPRL, the choreographer also alludes to a muse of the past who has nourished her and remains a constant source of inspiration: Ida Rubinstein, the muse adored by Diaghilev. Her memory infuses the show with energy and audacity, making it an ode to women and freedom.
