Join Orchestra Santa Monica for an enchanting evening dedicated to the magic of film music. Under the baton of OSM Music Director Roger Kalia, the orchestra will perform a selection of iconic scores from legendary cinematic composers such as John Williams, Bernard Herrmann, Max Steiner, Danny Elfman, Jerry Goldsmith, Maurice Jarre, Hans Zimmer, and others. 

The program will feature themes from classic films like "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Casablanca," as well as music from contemporary favorites such as "Back to the Future" and "The Mandalorian." This concert promises to be a captivating experience for all film and music enthusiasts.

Heroes both historical and fictitious as well as the superheroes of the Marvel and DC comics remain fertile mine of inspiration for Hollywood and some of the best big screen adventures ever. Scores include the classics of Robin Hood and The Magnificent Seven by Eric Korngold and Elmer Bernstein as well as those by John Williams and James Horner from films depicting real-life heroics of wartime sacrifice and space exploration in Saving Private Ryan and Apollo 13. Superheroes are represented by Superman, Batman and the X-Men.
