Participants from Canada, the US, and Hong Kong have been rehearsing with the NAC Orchestra mentors to bring you brass arrangements of some of your favorites. Come hear them play together in Le Salon in advance of their appearance with the full NAC Orchestra!

Join us for an unforgettable evening at the "This Is Us" concert, presented by the SCSO on May 18, 2024, at 7:00 PM. This special concert event will take place at the Canyon HS Performing Arts Center, located at 19300 Nadal St, Santa Clarita, CA 91351, USA. 

"This Is Us" is designed to showcase the unique talents and sounds of the individual sections that comprise the orchestra, culminating in a grand finale where all sections come together for a powerful performance. This event promises to be a memorable experience, highlighting the diversity and unity of the orchestra.

The concert will feature an impressive lineup of pieces, including:
- Copland: Fanfare for The Common Man
- G. Gabrieli: Canzon septimi toni No. 1
- P. Karamian: Prelude for Percussion composed for SCSO
- R. Strauss: Serenade for Winds
- J.S. Bach: Brandenburg Concerto 3
- Rimsky-Korsakoff: Capriccio Espagnol

Tickets are available for general admission, with prices ranging from $20.00 to $25.00, plus a service fee. Special pricing is available for students, seniors, and military personnel at $20.00, also subject to a service fee. Handicap seating is available, ensuring everyone can enjoy this spectacular event. This Is Us

Canyon High School

Renowned pianist Benjamin Hochman returns to the stage to play and conduct the orchestra.  This program will show a technical use of the piano and musical excellence that is sure to blow you away. Hear Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 as the harpsichord, violin, and flute take the spotlight.
