Experience the grandeur of Saint-Saëns' most ambitious Symphony, a favorite of Gergely Madaras, dedicated to Franz Liszt and a cornerstone of the Royal Philharmonic Society's repertoire since its London premiere in 1886. This timeless masterpiece, also marking the inauguration of the Schyven organ at the Salle Philharmonique, remains as vibrant and compelling as ever. Alongside, the Symphony espagnole by Lalo, a violin concerto infused with Spanish themes, will be brought to life by Alberto Menchen, concertmeister of the OPRL, showcasing the influence of Spanish motifs in classical music.
