The program includes Maddalena Casulana's "Ben Venga Il Pastor" arranged by Stelluto, Stelluto's own "Fugal Musings on Ben Venga Il Pastor," Johann Sebastian Bach's "Orchestral Suite No. 2 in B Minor," Tomaso Albinoni's "Sonata St. Mark’s, Op. 6, No. 11," and culminates with Antonio Vivaldi's timeless masterpiece, "The Four Seasons."

Rong-Yan Tang, a celebrated musician known for her performances on the CSO’s Chamber Music series and educational concerts at Chicago Public Schools, brings her exceptional skills to the forefront as a soloist. Her previous appearances include recitals at the Art Institute of Chicago and broadcasts on WFMT-FM, as well as performances with regional orchestras.

Feel the power and beauty of the Ocala Symphony Orchestra’s full string section. Stella Sung’s KOHOLA: Spirit of the Ocean will be performed side by side with stunning video work by award-winning producer and underwater photographer Annie Crawley, while guest soloist Danielle Moreau will lead us on an incredible journey with Emmanuel Séjourné’s Concerto for Marimba and Strings. Widely considered to be the one of the most influential periods for modern western music, the Baroque style is marked by fuller and more complex musical compositions, including multiple independent melody lines, performed simultaneously by different instruments, and often incorporating voices, just as we see in modern symphonic presentations.
