Dive into the golden era of jazz with "Accentuate the Positive" at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center this fall. This special evening promises to transport you back in time with music from the American Songbook, featuring classics that have uplifted spirits through the 1920s to 1940s. Prepare to walk on the sunny side of the street, find the silver lining, and dance cheek to cheek to the tunes that have been the soundtrack of many lives during those decades.

The night will showcase an incredible lineup, including TikTok sensation Stella Cole and the chair-turning crooner from the TV series "The Voice," Wyatt Michael. Led by the talented Konrad Paszkudzki, the ensemble will also feature guest vocalist Stella K. Cole, saxophonist Harry Allen, bassist Mike Karn, and drummer Andy Watson. Inspired by Bing Crosby’s 1944 hit "Accentuate the Positive," this event is a celebration of the memorable music that has kept people company through the ups and downs of history.
