In a special holiday revival of the hit show, SW!NG OUT, acclaimed director/choreographer Caleb Teicher and their collaborators (Evita Arce, LaTasha Barnes, Nathan Bugh, and Eyal Vilner) invite you to revel in the joy of social dance and festive cheer! In A Very SW!NG OUT Holiday, Lindy Hop champions bring their talents to The Joyce’s stage with live music by the Eyal Vilner Big Band, including perennial holiday favorites. In the second act, "don your gay apparel" and join the fun by dancing with your loved ones in an onstage post-show jam session!

Created and choreographed by multidisciplinary artist Caleb Teicher, Bzzz is a captivating collision of tap dance and beatboxing, exploring the boundless rhythmic potential of sound. A virtuosic and witty adventure through two highly imaginative art forms, the work features world-champion beatboxers Chris Celiz and Gene Shinozaki alongside tap dancers Jared Alexander, Ava Brooks, Naomi Funaki, John Manzari, Makayla Ryan, and Funmi Sofola

This dynamic interplay of piano and tap dance features pianist-composer Conrad Tao, who has been dubbed “the kind of musician who is shaping the future of classical music” by New York Magazine, and choreographer-dancer Caleb Teicher, about whom The New Yorker says: “mixing super-charged energy with tossed-off charm, Teicher is among the more promising figures in tap dance.” The pair come from two art forms, each with their own traditions and practices, but their collaboration explores the connections between them and the different ways the percussion of piano and tap relate to one another.
