Tom has even met Sir Elton John himself, who he credits with helping him recover from alcoholism. For pianist and singer Michael Cavanaugh, the answer was to tour the world as what Billboard called “The new voice of the American Rock and Roll Songbook.” The Grammy and Tony award-nominated artist has toured with productions bringing to life the music of not only Joel but Elton John, Paul Simon, Neil Diamond, and James Taylor. His album, The Way I Hear It, released in 2017, debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart.

Rus painstakingly recreates an early Elton concert with gorgeous, colorful & flamboyant costumes actually worn by Elton – including boots, glasses & jumpsuits from 1973, as well as his sparkly tuxedo from 1984!
