Written and arranged by Kahane, the music moves between pop and chamber music. Performed live, the work unfolds as a series of connected stories carried entirely by the human voice, showing both the range of Roomful of Teeth as performers and the emotional precision of Kahane’s writing.

Christmas in 15th-Century France & Burgundy

First Church in Cambridge

With the completion of its project Ockeghem@600 in March 2023, Blue Heron is very likely the only ensemble in the world to have sung every piece of music written by the great Johannes Okeghem (c. 1420-1497).
