Saturday at the Symphony

Nia Imani Franklin, composer, vocalist, and 2019 Miss America titleholder, is joined by pianist Aldo López-Gavilán for some of her original songs and compositions. The program will also include select original pieces composed by Napa County students who participated in Ms. Franklin’s “Compose Her” music composition workshop presented by the Festival this spring.  Performance is followed by a Q&A session.

Novack Concert for Kids: Nia Imani Franklin with Aldo López-Gavilán

Composer, performer and 2019 Miss America titleholder Nia Imani Franklin performs a concert for voice and piano featuring songs from her debut EP, Extended, as well as classical, contemporary pop, and R&B favorites, personally curated by Franklin to represent the music and composers who have influenced her own creative life.

With a mastery of styles ranging from R&B to classical, Franklin's soulful and eclectic music is
a true joy to hear.
