The evening will feature a vibrant selection of jazz pieces, announced live from the stage, performed by the all-star orchestra. Under the musical direction of Wynton Marsalis, the ensemble will explore the rich history of jazz, presenting both classic compositions and innovative new works. The lineup includes renowned musicians such as Ryan Kisor, Kenny Rampton, Marcus Printup on trumpets; Vincent Gardner, Chris Crenshaw, Elliot Mason on trombones; and a stellar saxophone section with Sherman Irby, Ted Nash, Victor Goines, Walter Blanding, and Paul Nedzela. The rhythm section boasts Dan Nimmer on piano, Carlos Henriquez on bass, and Obed Calvaire on drums.

This concert is a highlight of the Skaneateles Festival's Saturday evening concerts series, taking place at the scenic Robinson Pavilion at Anyela’s Vineyards. The venue offers breathtaking views and a perfect setting for an evening of jazz under the stars. Gates open at 6:00 PM, allowing guests to settle in and enjoy the surroundings before the concert begins promptly at 8:00 PM.

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO), comprising 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today, has been the Jazz at Lincoln Center resident orchestra since 1988. Featured in all aspects of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s programming, this remarkably versatile orchestra performs and leads educational events in New York, across the U.S. and around the globe; in concert halls; dance venues; jazz clubs; public parks; and with symphony orchestras; ballet troupes; local students; and an ever-expanding roster of guest artists.
