Enjoy the warm yuletide glow as Edmonton’s award-winning children’s choir, Cantilon Chamber Choir, joins your ESO to perform works inspired by Christmas and holiday traditions. From classic carols from centuries past (O Holy Night, Deck The Halls, O Come All Ye Faithful, Silent Night) to charming new carols by John Rutter, this is a perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. You’ll also hear a delightful mix of serene and celebratory pieces by Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Fauré, and Humperdinck.

The repertoire also features unique compositions like "Umoja, Anthem of Unity" by Valerie Coleman and "Fiesta de Navidad" by Dan Goeller, showcasing the rich tapestry of holiday celebrations around the globe.

Before the concert, attendees will have the opportunity to join Maestro Cuebas for a free 20-minute pre-concert lecture, providing insights into the evening's music and the traditions it represents. This engaging introduction is a fantastic way to enhance your concert experience.

Ticket prices are accommodating for all, with adult general admission at $20, seniors and military at $10, and students 18 & under granted free admission. From "Sleigh Ride" and "Hallelujah Chorus" to "Home Alone" and a holiday sing-a-long with a thousand of your closest friends, this celebration is designed to sparkle, shine, and warm your heart. Also featured will be the world-premiere of "A Chanukah Festival." Featured guest artist and Cape Cod Opera favorite Patrice Tiedemann joins the magical cast of characters in this spectacular show. It doesn't get more JOYful than this.
